Year 2016 will be a world of new experiences, adventure and thrill. We shall share the list for 2016 very soon, but before that let's take a look at the best trails of 2015 from the various listings on travel for 2015 and get our batteries charged!! So here goes.. Corsica Corsica is incredibly varied in it's offerings: from hiking and canyoning to working your tan, enjoying a leisurely cruise, delving into the island’s rich history and sampling local  specialties .  Though Corsica has officially been part of  France  for more than 200 years, it feels different from the mainland in everything from customs and cuisine to language and character, and that’s part of its appeal. Things I did in Paris and loved!

Paris- the name of the city itself is a hallmark for so many things. Culture, Food, Fashion, Art, Literature and the list goes on. With so much to see and do in Paris, it is hard to narrow down to the essentials, while still having an experience that is a good balance of everything the city has to offer. So here are the things I did in Paris and loved! 1. Cruised on the Seine River Seeing Paris from a boat on the River Seine can be enchanting! And there are no lack of boats to chose from. The ride crosses the beautiful bridges and most of Paris' renowned structures. Musee d' Orsay, Eiffel tower, Louvre to name a few. Boats offer all range of services, from no frills only sightseeing with commentary, to complete package with gourmet meal and champagne. 2. Tower gazed at the Eiffel No structure better symbolizes Paris than the Tour Eiffel. Although it was originally disliked by the artists and intellectuals of the time, it has gradually gained the love and atte...

At 55 East, Grand Hyatt

We had the perfect Sunday lunch here. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with smiling faces, and ushered to a table. We went around to check the buffet spread and were convinced about trying it out.  To begin with we went to the Sushi counter. The sushis on display looked very interesting and we tried all of them. Perfectly balanced flavors and the quality was superlative. I believe we must have tried at least a couple of rounds of Sushi of all kinds, to our hearts content.  Next we tried the South Asian counters, which had the Indonesian, Singaporean flavors. There was a lot of prawns and fresh ingredients in these counters. Also there was the live counter, from which we hardly opted for anything. We next walked to the Indian counter to find chaats, knick knacks, and some tandoor starters, fish cutlets. Main course had a mix of North and South Indian options. The  Indian food was the right amount of spicy. We enjoyed ...

Shakespeare & Company : The Old Smoky Reading Room, The Piano Man and The Erudite Cat  "Be not inhospitable to strangers Lest they be angels in disguise" Paris is known for many things- for its amazing food, for the stunning gothic architecture, the beautiful Parisian women, and as the place of origin for some of the world's finest literature. What many may not know is Paris apart from being the obvious hub of French literature has also been a congregation of some of world's most brilliant exponents of English literature , and when one talks about English literature in Paris Shakespeare and Co , the old creaky bookstore situated in the Latin Quarters serve as the center of the universe. So when we went to Paris this Autumn we also decided to make the pilgrimage for English literature lovers to the bookstore with the green door. We took the line M4 from Chatelet and got down at Cite from where Shakespeare and Co is just a short saunter away. On...
