However, one thing lead to another, and I got late for this lunch. So I was relieved to see them letting patrons in quite past lunch hours. It was an all day dining apparently! so far so good! Ok! so let me get this straight the Grilled Tenderloin strips were lip-smacking, and they tasted as good as they look in this picture. We visited Jamjar Diner's on the first Sunday of August, also known as the Friendships day, well whatever it is called we just need a reason to meet our friends. Due to it's increasing popularity the place was packed with guests that day. But we didnt budge either, since we had zeroed in on the location beforehand. We chose to wait our turn for about 20 minutes.  There happened to be about a small area in the bar section next to the big black telephone.  We ordered our craft beer of Gateway Brewery whilst we waited. Weekends can be exciting for many reasons. For us, one happy thought (apart from sleeping till late) is to plan our lazy brunches with friends somewhere, or cooking up a delicious meal at home. The entire weekend sets rolling with all of this. So on one such rainy weekend, we thought of giving the online site  GourmetItUp   a try for the first time. They had a lovely set meal option at Oh:Cha Restaurant and bar. This place had opened a  few months ago, and we were planning to visit it ever since we had got some raving reviews. Located inside Mathurdas Mills compound, this place is almost hidden from sight. But as you walk in, the place turns around. The decor is understated, with beautiful hanging lamps all over the ceiling. Having reached there I realized that the place is run by an old friend.   It had been a while since we had visited TGIfridays .   What with all the new eateries in the city, there is always a new destination to experiment food in. And even the thought of doing so is exciting. However, we have had many a happy memories associated with this place. We reached here  quite late, by when most of the restaurants were closing for lunch. It was relatively empty as the peak hours were over. I ordered a November Seabreeze. For starters we ordered Loaded Potato skins topped with bacon. The dish was at it’s greasy best (but of course it was all fried!) but I let myself enjoy this rude boy lunch. This place feels like a confluence of the new and old..the ambiance is classy, the staff are very genial and polite which is a rare find in the new world , while the food itself has a contemporary flare to it. Also the average crowd sitting around would be within their thirties, so the place felt young and vibrant. I liked the wall graffiti, as if it was all pencil sketches. I have been to Global Fusion over eight times and I confess that till date I have never been able to taste all the dish on their menu. Such is the 'vastness' of their buffet! The very first time that we had been to this place, we were in for a surprise with this vast spread, but we learnt this soon enough and for our forthcoming trips we have been relatively prepared, because one cannot be fully prepared for this vast array of Asian food choices. Everything on their menu card happens to be on display, and one can order this together or in portions, for a fixed per head cost.
