Canapes of Lemon Pickled Prawn Tortilla

These babies go as perfect accompaniments as party starters. They are light, crispy, delicious and hardly any sweat. As finger foods, they will taste great and the canapes look great don’t they.
Ingredients for Canapes of Lemon Pickled Prawn Tortilla
  • Prawns- med sized 250 g
  • Sweet Lime pickle
  • Ginger
  • Yogurt
  • Tortilla

Blend this to get a smooth paste. Ensure that the lemon pickle is the sweet version. If it is the salt based pickle, then you would need to balance the taste of the blended mixture by adjusting the flavor as per taste.
Marinate the prawns in this mixture for about 20 mins. Place these on the griddle with a dash of oil, for a couple of minutes. Do not overcook the prawns.  Place these on  tortillas over small cubes of cheddar cheese (this is optional). Garnish with coriander leaf and ketchup.

The bad ass buffet at Global Fusion!

I have been to Global Fusion over eight times and I confess that till date I have never been able to taste all the dish on their menu. Such is the 'vastness' of their buffet! The very first time that we had been to this place, we were in for a surprise with this vast spread, but we learnt this soon enough and for our forthcoming trips we have been relatively prepared, because one cannot be fully prepared for this vast array of Asian food choices. Most of everything that they have on display are interesting options and good and the place is good value for money!  View from our Table 29 at Global Fusion Their display includes a Sushi counter. But my favorite is the Baked Prawn with Cheese and the Prawn Tempura. My husband is very fond of their Prawn Tempura and the Iceberg chicken. Their Tempura’s are perfectly crispy on the outside and m...
