At British Brewing Co. ~ BBC

It was a Saturday evening, and I was catching up with my BFF after  many weeks (read ages). So I had this place in mind, as I hadn’t been there before and also because of it’s proximity to where we met up that day. At 7:30 pm this place was 80% occupied, playing eighties rock music and had an upbeat vibe.

We stepped in, and got ourselves seated. Meeting after long calls for celebration, so it was cocktails all the way! She ordered a Appletini and I was in mood for a Cosmopolitan ! Our drinks came in, with a side order of Nachos. This place has a great many kind of beers to offer, and a lively decor.
While we had a good time, the staff visited our table every half hour to check on whether we needed anything. We surely had a great time catching up, but I could not help noticing the hospitality here. Later in the night,  we ordered a 11” Basil Pesto Chicken pizza. It was plenty for just the two of us but there can never be too much pizza for us!

I have earlier heard mixed reviews of this place. Some rave about its food, while others find it average. I would say that since this is a pub, I would judge the place for its drinks and its friendly staff too. They get a complete thumbs up from me. I surely think the pizza could have been better, and I have tasted better Pesto before. But I have to come back to try some of their food from the main course before I can comment on the same.

The bad ass buffet at Global Fusion!

I have been to Global Fusion over eight times and I confess that till date I have never been able to taste all the dish on their menu. Such is the 'vastness' of their buffet! The very first time that we had been to this place, we were in for a surprise with this vast spread, but we learnt this soon enough and for our forthcoming trips we have been relatively prepared, because one cannot be fully prepared for this vast array of Asian food choices. Everything on their menu card happens to be on display, and one can order this together or in portions, for a fixed per head cost. Most of everything that they have on display are interesting options and good and the place is good value for money!  View from our Table 29 at Global Fusion Their display includes a Sushi counter. But my favorite is the Baked Prawn with Cheese and the Prawn Tempura. My husband is very fond of their Prawn Tempura and the Iceberg chicken. Their Tempura’s are perfectly crispy on the outside and m...

Last month I got this special recipe passed down to me by my mum in law, well she is a great home cook to say the least :)  I must say that I was overwhelmed with the final product :D It’s a reasonably simple recipe for such a delicious kebab and the taste is absolutely restaurant quality, I thought that I must share it..and here is my take on it-                                  Chicken Seekh Kebab ready to be eaten!
